Now Playing: What paths do we take?
Topic: Verses

Below are a number of wonderful verses from the Psalms on which to meditate this week:

Psalms 16:11 - Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalms 17:4 - Concerning the works of men, by the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Psalms 23:3 - He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake.

Psalms 25:4 - Shew me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.

Psalms 25:10 - All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalms 27:11 - Teach me Thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Psalms 77:19 - Thy way is in the sea, and Thy path in the great waters, and Thy footsteps are not known.

Psalms 119:35 - Make me to go in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

Psalms 119:105 - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalms 139:3 - Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

Psalms 142:3 - When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

Psalms 17:5 - Hold up my goings in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

Now Playing: Can we find it?
Topic: Pathway
In the fields of mathematics and science there are some questions for which there ARE answers, and some questions for which there ARE NOT (given our current knowledge). We can be thankful, that God has given us everything we need to know in His Word. This is the beginning of a meditation on the path of the believer, 1) Can we find it? 2) What is it? and 3) What can we use to guide us?

In the book of Job, chapter 28, he is searching for wisdom, and searching for answers. In verse 7 (see also Proverbs 4:11) it is recorded, "There is a Path" (King James Version). Has the Divine Creator given us enough information so we can walk in this complex, modern world? In verses 12 and 20, Job asks "where shall wisdom be found...where is the place of understanding". We believe God has given us some guidance. This will be taken up over a period of many weeks. God's truth can take time to sink in, and we want to give careful attention to everything He has given us in His Word (Colossians 2:3, Hebrews 2:1).
